Lasagne

Easy and tasty lasagne.

  1. Preheat oven to 190ºC. Spray large lasagne dish with oil. Heat a pot over medium heat. Add oil and cook the onion, celery and carrot, stirring, for 5 minutes or until the onion softens. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute or until aromatic.
  2. Add the mince and cook, stirring with a wooden spoon to break up any lumps, for 5 minutes or until browned. Add the tomato paste and cook off.
  3. Stir in the tomatoes and the passata and the reduce heat to low. Simmer, stirring often, for 30 minutes or until the mixture reduces slightly.
  4. Add a lasagne sheet and then spoon a little mince mixture among the dishes and continue layering, finishing with a lasagne sheet. Top with the bechamel sauce. Use the back of a spoon to smooth the surfaces. Sprinkle with the parmesan and Italian Seasoning
  5. Place the dishes in the oven and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden.
