Pasta Carbonara
Creamy, rich Carbonara with an added smokey flavour.

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 200g thin-cut bacon or pancetta
- 2 cloves garlic
- 200g mushroom
- 1 tsp hungarian or smoked paprika
- ½ cup dry white wine
- 300ml cream
- ¼ tsp freshly ground black pepper, plus more for garnish
- 2 eggs
- 100g parmesan cheese
- 500g spaghetti
Directions
- Bring a pot of water to the boil and add the Salt. Once boiled add the Spaghetti and cook as per directions.
- Heat the oil in a man and fry off the Bacon. Add the Garlic to the pan and once fragrant, add the Mushrooms. Once the Mushrooms are softened add the Paprika and cook for a minute. Deglaze the pan with the White Wine and stir the mixture.
- Over a low heat add the mixture and cream to the cooked pasta. Then add the Eggs and Cheese stirring through.
- Serve with Garlic Bread and garnish with Parsley.
