Course Description

Business Information Systems and Management is a foundation subject that provides an overview of the critical aspects of Information Management and Information Systems required in all businesses in the 21st century. While primarily a business course, the course will consider the technical aspects necessary to liaise meaningfully with IT departments and personnel. The course's focus will be on leveraging technology for business purposes. The subject covers fundamental information management skills and focuses on using information to make business decisions and solve business problems.
